I have been a client of Jill and Inside Style since October of 2009.
I would say average perception of using an interior designer is that it is going to be expensive and unaffordable. Not the case. Jill was more than willing to work with me on a plan that fit my budget and was conscious of cost all the way through my project.
Jill was great to work with at interpreting my style and vision. We did several sketches to get the concept right and then started looking for the right materials. Not only is Jill a creative wealth of knowledge and visionary, but she has a great resource network. Electrician, plumber, woodworker…you name it she has a referral. She was also able to source a lot of my furniture at a discounted rate which was great. Her warehouse received the shipments and made sure to contact me when everything was in.
I am pretty hands-on so I didn’t utilize her project management service (sometimes I wish I would have!) but she was great at working shoulder-to-shoulder with me, keeping me involved, and totally did not get her feelings hurt when we did not agree. That made her all the more determined to get it right and make me happy.
Overall the experience was a great one, and not only would I use Jill again, but would recommend her to anyone considering using a designer. Now that my project is finished, we still stay in contact and I know that I can call her when I need any little thing.
